A very cheap steam sauna ---------------------- What you need: 1. Popup privacy tent with no floor - get one without windows at the top - currently runs for $30-40 on amazon 2. Deep fryer - get 2 of them if you want it hot - faberware 2qt deep fryers are $25 each at walmart 3. Chair - a folding chair is like $10 - I prefer to use a cheap flat lifting bench from walmart, covered with a towel. was like $40 but worth because now I can fit 2 people. and you're done. Usage: - set up the tent, preferably over flooring that won't get damaged by water - put the deep fryers inside the tent at the back corners, filled with water, and turn the dial to max - press each deep fryer as close to the corner as you can - plug the cable in to the deep fryer, run it under each corner - plug the cables into an outlet - put your chair in the middle wait 30 mins or so Enjoy your sauna. It gets very hot and you should be done in 30 mins most likely, depending on how long you let it heat up for. NOTE: I burned the shit out of myself by knocking over the boiling water once while sitting on the floor. This is why I recommend a chair. There are two pots of boiling water right next to you at all times. Do not take that lightly. If you do end up getting burned, check out my regenerative healing protocol at: https://longestlevers.com/biohacking/regenerative-healing.html --------- FAQ: Q: "What about the polyester in the tent released into the air by the heat??" A: Pay more money if that's an issue to you, lol. Steam saunas don't get that hot in reality, but they prevent sweat from cooling you effectively, so you get an equally hot body temperature as a dry sauna at a much lower ambient temperature. Wearing polyester shorts inside of a dry sauna is arguably worse, but I really don't think this moves the needle. Q: "Will the deep fryers get shorted out by the water?" A: idk maybe. never happened for me and I've used this for a long time. Q: "Is sauna good?" A: yes. --------- - anabology
